Aiming to grow fresh apples accessible to all families.

Central New York’s

“No Fuss” Apple Picking.

Woznica Orchards is part of Woznica Farms, a family-owned farm established in 1920.

For over 100 years the Woznica (Wozniczka) family has operated their farm just off Route 31, in the hamlet of Cicero Center. The orchard was established in 2020 by David + Amanda Woznica. We are located 20 minutes north of Syracuse + two miles from the shores of Oneida Lake.

We produce + sell an array of apple varieties, including:

Honeycrisp, Empire, Gala, Fuji, Cortland, McIntosh, Goldrush, Triumph + Sweet Maia

With the population surrounding Syracuse booming, the demand for fresh, local food likewise increases. Our response is innovation. We use Cornell University’s tall-spindle growing system to maximize fruit production per acre of land. This means we can plant 1,000-1,200 dwarf apple trees per acre versus the traditional system of approximately 700 dwarf trees per acre. By planting this way, we are investing in the land for future generations.

We hope you enjoy our apples just as much as we enjoy growing them.
